1. Title Deed

For legal confirmation, verify the original deed by the lawyer and procure a release certificate from all other persons owning the land.

2. Pledged Land

Ensure that the land you are buying is free from all debts.

3. Measure the Land

Before making a registry of the land in your name, measure the land accurately by the authorised surveyor.

4. Agreement

Make an advance payment or write an agreement on Rs. 50 stamp paper, once you settle down on all financial and legal matters.

5. Registration

Under the provisions of the Indian Registration Act, 1908, register the agreement.

6. Sales Deed

 Procure the sales deed from the seller.
